The key to this design was the sculptural pieces of natural sandstone that ‘crash’ through the depicted convict built sandstone walls. A core ten steel boat skeleton illustrates the vast boating history of the area and interpretive plaques describe the tales of the convicts and inform visitors about the surrounding national parks and walking trails.
