Waterskiing & Wakeboarding

Waterskiing and Wakeboarding are extremely popular sports on the Hawkesbury River, Wisemans Ferry.

There are several ski parks along the river, where you can stay in cabins and camping.

Boat ramps are available at certain ski parks to use for a fee. You need to contact each one individually for their rates.

There is a public boat ramp on Old Northern Road (just past the park/oval located on your right) and before the Convict Kiosk / entrance to vehicular ferry.

NSW Ski Garden is located on the banks of the Hawkesbury River 1.2km from the small township of Wisemans Ferry , and is owned by NSW Water Ski Federation. It is popular with many river users, such as water skiers, fishermen, pushbike riders, campers and holiday makers. The Ski Gardens maintains a rustic charm, giving you somewhere to escape but still have the conveniences you require.

Facilities include:

Wide boat ramp
Weekend kiosk: ice, hot food, ice creams, drinks, etc
Sheltered riverside picnic area
BBQs
Disabled bathroom
Water Ski School
Wisemans Ferry Water Sports
Shady trees and ski beaches
Camp sites – powered and unpowered (most on the river bank)
